Hello, world! Here I gathered some information about me, my scientific path, and my ongoing research. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Salk Institute in Terry Sejnowski Lab. Now I focus on synaptic transmission, particularly in structural changes that occur at presynaptic terminals after the induction of long-term potentiation.

I am a physicist by training, but I became fascinated with Neuroscience and questions like: how we process information, how memories are stored, and how synaptic efficacy is modified. I aim to collaborate closely with experimental scientists, to gain a deep understanding of the mechanisms underlying synaptic plasticity, integrating experiments with theory or mathematical modeling.
